Dr. Michael R. Powell

Dr. Michael R. Powell is a board certified Doctor of Chiropractic, Wellness Coach and Level 1 CrossFit Trainer. Dr Powell did his undergraduate work at Buena Vista College (Storm Lake, Iowa) and graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic (Bloomington, MN) in 1996 with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.

With a deep passion for helping others, Dr. Powell has assisted thousands of people in getting well through his combination of chiropractic care, wellness and fitness coaching and nutritional counseling. 

Dr. Powell is a member of Minnesota Chiropractic Association, has served as the team doctor for the NAHL Alexandria Blizzard Hockey team and has trained numerous young athletes in strength and conditioning and nutrition.  

Dr. Powell has two incredible boys, Thomas and Jack. In his spare time,  he and his boys love the outdoors- hunting, fishing, cycling, golfing, and training their English Setter, Zeke.  Dr. Powell volunteers in the community as a youth athletic coach and mentor.

Dr. Zachary Maas

Dr. Maas is a board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic.  He grew up in Wadena, Minnesota, and has always been very active with sports and community-based activities.  He played hockey and baseball throughout high school.

Enjoying an active lifestyle, he wanted to find a career in health and fitness. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and attended chiropractic school at Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU) in Bloomington, Minnesota. Dr. Maas graduated from NWHSU in 2015. During his studies, he also completed extra certifications in pre-participation sports physicals and concussion baseline screening. He loves that chiropractic allows him to treat patients of all ages and conditions.

Dr. Maas is married to Lauren, his beautiful wife, and they look forward to growing in the Alexandria area. In his spare time, Dr. Maas enjoys staying active with working out, playing hockey, golfing, hunting and fishing, and spending time with friends and family.
